Privacy policy
Privacy on this website
This policy covers www.medbrains.in, the MedBrains company website. It explains what we collect when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. It does not cover the MedBrains hospital software: patient records in that software belong to the hospital that uses it, and the hospital decides how they are used. We process them only on the hospital's instructions, under our contract with it.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you use the demo form or write to us, we receive your name, phone number or email, your hospital's name and your message. The form opens a WhatsApp chat with your message filled in, so it reaches us through WhatsApp.
- Usage analytics, only if you allow it. If you choose "Allow" on the analytics banner, Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used: clicks, scrolling and the pages visited. Form fields are masked. If you choose "No thanks", or make no choice, Clarity does not load. You can change your choice at any time with "Analytics choice" at the foot of every page.
- Technical data. Like any website, our hosting (Amazon Web Services) receives your IP address and browser details when pages load. Our fonts are served from our own site, so no font service sees your visit.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, arrange a demo and follow up on your enquiry.
- With your consent, to understand which pages help visitors and which confuse them.
- To keep the website running and secure.
Who it is shared with
Only the services that run this website for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting), Microsoft (Clarity, only with your consent) and Meta (WhatsApp, when you message us). Each processes the data under its own terms. We share personal data with others only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we are in conversation with you and for a reasonable period after, then deleted, unless a law requires us to keep them longer. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, have it erased, withdraw consent you have given, and nominate someone to act for you. You can also raise a grievance with us. Write tohello@medbrains.in; we will reply within 90 days, and usually much sooner. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
